The 17th century believer, philosopher, physicist and mathematician, Blaise Pascal, once said, "We are generally the better persuaded by the reasons we discover ourselves than by those given to us by others."


Sounds as if he is describing not only what he observed in the 1600's but also what he could not observe in our time. Perhaps just human nature?


Sooo... what are the implications for evangelism? Perhaps what we show others really is more important than what we tell them.
