Mission Moscow - 4

Today was another full day. We started off with French toast (thanks, Nanna!!) and then went to church together. One really cool thing they did at the end of the service was to invite all the church members who had anniversaries in July or August up to the front just to honor them and tell them thanks for being good examples. About 8 or 10 couples went forward. Some had been married only a few years, and others have been together a long time... we clapped for them all.
We hung around in the fellowship hall for a while after church and Jen and Fok met some people, including at least one other couple new to the area.

The afternoon included another trip to the hardware store and WalMart, some yummy Chinese take-out, and a brief picture session orchestrated by Nanna... of course!! Here are some samples:

Tomorrow it's up early for Nanna and me to catch a shuttle to the airport in Spokane. We'll get home in time for supper and back to our respective offices on Tuesday... savoring the memories of our trip and God's many blessings.
