One of the by-products of growing up in a family in which the parents or at least one in in education is that much of life revolves around school... when it starts... when the breaks are... faculty events... friendships with other families... and so forth. It was true for Virginia and me as we grew up in households with teachers. It was true of our kids... at least much of their growing up life. And it's really been true for Kaleb... raised in an academic environment all of his life. Of course, for the last few years he has had school experiences of his own as well, and this year third grade apparently is off to a great start.
