Well, Virginia and I will head to the airport in the morning and fly to Houston for the weekend. It's Mark and Karen Howell's 20th anniversary with Sugar Grove, and the church is having a celebration.
The video VJ did turned out great, so we're looking forward to sharing that with the folks at SG. We'll stay with Lisa, see lots of good friends, enjoy the fellowship, and be blessed by worshiping with our former church family. I'm anticipating a weekend full of blessings.
It's really special to have maintained such close ties with people at Sugar Grove. Not only are so many friendships special, but there's also a real sense that the Kingdom... our Family of brothers and sisters... in real and tangible ways is bigger than just where we happen to live and serve.
