Graduation Season

School is winding down out west. In some parts of the country and school at some levels, the graduation speeches are over and the parties have already wound down. Our grads at church still have a couple of weeks, but this Sunday is our time to recognize, honor, and encourage them. It's a worthwhile effort each and every year. Mike, one of last year's grads, left today for a summer internship in Tuba City Arizona. He'll help Paul Ghee coordinate all the mission trip groups, projects, etc for the summer. Lots of us are really proud of Mike.

Virginia will be traveling this weekend to participate in nephew Tim Johnston's church graduation event at the Riverside Church in Coppell, TX. Janet sent a bunch of pics from Tim's life, and Virginia has done her usual masterful job of blending photos, music, and special effects into a story on DVD. She'll also get to see other family, so she's really looking forward to the trip. Thank goodness for those SW Rapid Reward tickets! I'll miss her, but she'll be back Monday.
